Mike Gorman (play-by-play) and Tom Heinsohn (color) broadcast their first Celtics game together.

The television broadcast is first aired on PRISM and subsequently on NBC Sports Boston. The two men go on to become the longest continuous on-air duo in professional sports and continue until Heinsohn’s health prevents him attending games in 2019.
